Overview

The Links at Spanish Bay may very well be the unsung hero of the Pebble Beach area golf courses.
Often overlooked, this course offered a challenging, but extremely fair test of your golfing skills.

What Was Impressive

​

• Wind remained a factor on every hole and presents a remarkable challenge on every shot.

• The Links at Spanish Bay unveiled spectacular seaside views of Pebble Beach. 

• The 14th was a great hole, with its elevated tee towards the sea and the entire hole
  descending to the green, very well protected and close to the sea.

• The 17th hole may be the most scenic, and under very windy conditions, it may be the most
  challenging. Pro Tip: Swing easy and with good tempo under windy conditions. Adjust the
  estimated yardage based on the helping or hurting wind. Selecting the proper club under
  these conditions is of critical importance.

• Course conditions were impeccable.

What Could Be Improved

​

• The amenities on the course were solid, but unremarkable. An upgrade would be
  appreciated.
